Our Expertise

Our ExpertiseMeet our founding member, Jay Sheth. He is a MBA in Finance from USA and a Chartered Accountant from the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants in UK. Jay has extensive experience working in India and the USA along with doing consulting assignments in UAE.

 

He has worked in management consulting firms such as Deloitte and KPMG, and has also run his own e-commerce, wholesale, and distribution business. Jay's education, work experience and financial aptitude assist him in researching and analyzing financial products. He has a very unique blend of experience, education, understanding of financial ambitions of people across income strata to deliver personalized financial advice.

Having worked in USA and with multiple international Clients, Jay has always felt a deficiency in the quality of services provided in India. Most of the time we come across pushy salesmen or service executives having no clue of what the Client is asking or wants. We aim to correct this by not overcommitting, doing thorough research and understanding Client needs. We prefer overdelivering rather than overcommitting.

At the outset, we let Clients know our process and what we would be delivering to them. We also involve Clients at multiple stages to get their inputs. After all, it is the financial plan of the Client that he / she needs to execute and their comfort with our suggestions is of utmost importance.

Our Approach

Our firm adopts a client-centric approach, placing our clients' goals at the forefront of our process. We recognize that each client is unique, and we take the time to understand their personality, lifestyle and ambitions to create a tailored financial plan. We do not have a set methodology regarding asset allocation, index only investing strategy, only largecap investing, etc. We believe every Client has a unique situation and requirement to which we need to create a personalized plan.

Hence we just do not aim to create a financial plan but to also educate our clients through the use of simple models and case studies, and we suggest financial products that align with their comfort level. Please refer to our plans, to understand the process we follow.

SEBI Certification

SEBI came out with the Investment Advisers regulations in 2013 to ensure that Clients deal only with qualified individuals as their financial advisors. 

​

SEBI grants RIA status only to individuals or corporates that have more than 5 years experience in activities related to advice in financial products, has a post graduate degree and has cleared financial planning modules of National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM).

 

Dealing with Shwealth, Clients are assured that we have the necessary qualification  and expertise as well as we are not biased in providing any advice to Clients.
